In this English Language Arts AP30 unit the students have been invited to participate in their own Tedx inspired talk. The theme of the event and the topics of their inquiry based research project is passion. Each student has been challenged to write a paper that speaks to something they are passionate about. As part of this unit students were given time to tour and use the University of Regina Archer Library. Students were asked to find multiple sources to support their research including peer reviewed work.
The presentations were entertaining and the papers were well researched and strongly defended. The topics varied from Video Games to Victim Blaming.
